What Actually Is a European Style, Respectively Poster Style Calendar? The 50:50 Style vs. the European Style

Actually, there is no such thing like a "50:50 calendar". We gave it this name for the reason, many wall calendars sold in the USA show a full image, when you buy them, but as soon as you hang them to the wall, 50 % of what you see will be decoration part, but 50 percent of the whole thing will be the lower common calendrical part (... the huge grid). A gigantic area with the "old-fashioned" option to write in something.

This is what both styles are offered on Amazon, in your bookstore, in a mall and on the internet. It's the first impression ... and the calendar cover sheet. However, on the left side it's only 50 percent  of what your home trims later.

Above is what each month of a "50:50 calendar" is looking like. It doubles in size compared to the calendar cover sheet. However, the lower 50 percent is actually no decoration at all ...  it's actually just ... "ugly"?! Yes, and useful.

That is what European style calendars are looking like on almost every wall in your home, starting on January 1st. Because the calendrical (... the days) is art as well, some calendars replace the word "January" with the digit " 1 ".

We invented the name "50:50 style calendar" to explain the difference between those and the calendars, that my Publishing House offers in its brick and mortar shop here in Germany*: Poster style calendars or if you like this name even better, European style calendars. However, already here, we do offer 50:50 music calendars, too ... and that is via "Zazzle".*... actually there is no brick and mortar store here in our little wine community either.

It's for Decoration, It's Not for Your Appointments

A different purpose is the reason. Some call it – what we call 50:50 calendar – "wall calendar planner", which tells the purpose very clearly. We think, while these calendars slowly move out of fashion (... because more and more folks plan electronically), European style calendars remain a real cool decoration for every living room, music room and dining room. Some of them even match in one of the children's rooms. Plus, they tell more about a person in a doctor's office, in a law firm or in the waiting room of any specialist, who deals with more than one visitor at a time. Do you want a larger imagination?

Yes, yes, yesssss ... we do have music calendars and composers calendars and pipe organ calendars and Bach calendars with a grid, too. You will find them on "Zazzle", after your click here.

Get the Difference Even Larger and Better

The both smaller pics above are just for comparison reasons. Here now you will get a better feeling with the presence of such a large area with data and handwriting and a very simple hanging. While the perfect place for a wall planner calendar actually seems to be the kitchen, a poster calendar deserves a very special place where you live or work. The decoration starts with our small size calendars. The most exciting size however is the huge size calendar, which is a real eye-catcher everywhere. Plus, there is one in the middle. Check on the sizes in centimeters and in inches with a click here.

"50:50 style": The calendar section in the lower part is just a dry "tool" area.

European style = poster style: Step three feet back and after a short while you just notice a cool work of art. This calendar section (... the small digits and weekdays) at the bottom "steps in the background". So to speak. Which is not true with a "50:50 style calendar".

About Unique Decoration ... Just "Recycle" Your Calendar

Now it's of importance: Use a calendar twice. All 99 + 3 poster calendars come in really thick paper, so it's not that easy to bend or even tear them accidentally. Or for purpose. After the year is over, and you already ordered a new calendar weeks ago, you may think about creating a real cool gallery of some or of all of these same style artworks.

Wow, that's cool: Three music calendars and two composers calendars. All of them are unique music gifts ... for friends, for your music teacher, for your piano teacher, for choir buddies and for neighbors. Your way to the shop.

99 + 3 Pipe Organ Calendars, Composers Calendars, Bach Calendars and Music Calendars for Both Children and Grownups ... That ... Is "Bach for You"

On the left there it is a Bach calender, probably for teens, on the right side it is the Little Bach Figure.

Again a Bach calendar on the left, however, much "tamlier" than the one above, on the right side there is a Bach T-shirt.

12 x Mozart, 12 x Beethoven, both calendars in the "Just One Composer Edition".

The jewel among the Bach beer steins. It is the one from the year 2000. On the right side is one more jewel in the shop of "Bach 4 You": the 2024 Pipe Organ Calendar.
